Krby's Epic Yarn-In Other Words: Kirby-Indiana Jones-Ninja-Spiderman Style
At first Glance, Kirby's epic yarn looks like a kids game. After all it's called epic yarn, not kirby's bloody rampage. truth be told, it is a kid's game. But before you turn away to go play Call of Duty, let's go over the pros and Cons.
Pros
Graphics-It's yarn what do you expect, right? Well it's better. the yarn was designed so eliquently into the game, i.e. the waterfalls and landscape, that in some points I thought I was looking at real water and trees.
Gameplay-Fantastic. there wasn't a moment where I was too bored to play. I was hooked from beginning to end due to its silly yet difficult levels.
Challenge factor-This is interesting because it's not too easy yet not too hard. I think there are some points in the game where even adults will have to stop and assess the situation. This from a children's game people.
Cons
Co-op-awful. simply awful. there were moments where my friend John and I simply quit because one of us accidently went too far ahead and got squashed because the camera was focused on the player who was lagging. also the two players will most certainly get in each others way.
Sound and Music-Good lord the sound! Prince Fluff sounded more like a japenese girl on steroids. Also the music made me feel like i was watching nick jr. Even though the remake of classic songs like green greens and Dedede's castle was a nice touch, it left something to be desired.
Overall the game wasn't a dissapointment. Sure the sound effects aren't great but the gameplay, oh the gameplay is definitley worth your time and money.
